Missouri farmers putting a bow on harvest

Missouri harvest and winter wheat planting are cleaning up the margins as November nears its end.

Soybean harvest is slightly behind last year at 95 percent complete.

Cotton harvest is 97 percent complete.

Winter wheat planting has reached 94 percent complete with 86 percent of the crop emerged.  

USDA marked the state’s corn and rice harvests as completed in the first half of the month.

USDA’s recent Missouri crop progress report is the last of the year.
