95 percent of corn harvested, 85 percent of soybeans harvested in Kansas

Corn harvest is nearly complete across Kansas with soybeans well behind normal pace.

The latest crop progress report says 95 percent of corn is in with soybeans harvest 85 percent complete, 9 percent behind last year’s average.

Winter wheat condition is rated 64 percent good-to-excellent with 86 percent of the crop emerged.

Eighty-three percent of sorghum has been harvested.

Cotton condition is rated at 51 percent good-to-excellent with 30 percent of the crop in.

Sunflowers harvested was 89 percent, on pace with last year.

Pasture and range conditions are 40 percent good-to-excellent.
