Arkansas crops: 94% rice harvest and 70% soybean harvest complete

Harvest pace wasn’t slowed too much by the light precipitation that fell across the state, according to the USDA. 

Rice harvest is 94% complete.   The cotton crop is 58% harvested.  Soybean harvest is 70% complete.  Peanut harvest is 44% complete.

Pastures are rated 29% good to excellent.  Winter wheat is 46% planted with 22% emerged

Topsoil was rated 69% and subsoil moisture was rated 67% percent adequate to surplus.
