57% of Indiana corn, 63% of soybeans harvested

The USDA says farmers in Indiana made steady harvest progress last week.

The state’s corn harvest is 57 percent complete, in line with the five-year average. Seventy percent of the crop is rated good to excellent.

Soybean harvest progress fell behind the five-year average with 63 percent of the crop harvested. Sixty-nine percent of the crop is rated good to excellent.
