FMS508 Christmas Lights

Happy Friday, peeps!  We have a busy weekend planned, how about you?  I am looking forward to our church's harvest party tomorrow! But right now, I've got a (ahem) very busy card for you...if I had to do this one all over, I would definitely make it less fussy!  But once I got started, I had to see it through!  I used the FMS sketch, which I turned on its side:

And some of these fun papers from  Sweet Stockings.  Here we go:

This is way busier than my usual style for sure!  Anyway, I stamped and fussy-cut Christmas bulbs from the Little Delights set and gave them a baker's twine cord and a couple little sequins for glitz:

I wish I had moved the sentiment up a little bit, but after putting all this work into it, I wasn't going to try to re-do it, LOL!  I gave the bulbs a wash of Wink of Stella too....hopefully someone will appreciate getting it in the mail this holiday season!  Thanks for visiting!

Ganae, Wayne's first stepdaughter, surprised everyone yesterday; she and her mom were living in NC and moved back to the area, but didn't tell Dana and Wayne.  She showed up at dinner with Wayne's parents after karate to surprise them!  The look on Cassidy's face tells me she's thrilled to have her back closer to home!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

What a sweet surprise...both your card and Ganae! It's nice that Cassidy has a big sister close by. I love how you used the baker's twine. Don't be too hard on yourself. I think it's the cutest thing since sliced bread. Have a blessed weekend.

Love the adorable card, LeAnne! I was just looking at this set thinking about those light bulbs all needing to be fussy cut and put in back down. I love it matched with that pretty paper! I think you did a beautiful job on this! How fun for Miss Cassidy to have Ganae back! She looks so happy! Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend! :)

'Tis the season for ALL the Christmas we can put into our cards, LeAnne! I've been a bit heavy handed on a few myself lately! But, just look how everything about your card just fits!! LOve the twine for stringing the lights!

I'm sure this took quite a bit of time to arrange all those lights with the twine, but it turned out perfect! I love the matching papers and super cute design! Love the great photo of those smiling girls too :)

One of my favs for this set for sure! Sooooo cute! Love the movement w/the twine and using the DSP w/the bigger stamped bulbs. It's a great card for the holidays, especially since it also should mail well. TFS!
