Two men arrested with more than 60 pounds of cocaine, a gun and ledgers full of transactions

Two men were arrested Tuesday with more than 60 pounds of cocaine on them, and have been charged with intent to distribute, according to court documents.

Lennin Robles Parra, 34, Houston, Texas, and Isaias Santos, 29, Houston, Texas, were arrested in Minnehaha County with 63 pounds of cocaine on them, a Smith and Wesson .45 Shield handgun as well as two ledgers filled with transactions, according to court documents.

A later release from the Sioux Falls Police Department said detectives found 62 pounds of cocaine in the vehicle.

Both men are being held on $500,000 cash-only bonds in the county jail, according to court documents. 

Robles Parra and Santos are also charged with attempt to commit a felony with a firearm, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The arrests come after three men were arrested on Oct. 14 with more than 200 grams each of fentanyl and crack cocaine in Lincoln County, according to previous Argus reporting. One of the men also had 92.5 pills of oxycodone.
