Citrix has been named HashiCorp Integration Partner of the Year for 2021. The award was announced during the HashiCorp Cloud and Technology Partner Summit on Monday, October 18.

HashiCorp is known for products that include Vault, Consul, and Terraform that are used daily by thousands of enterprises to adopt zero trust security models and service mesh and to provision infrastructure across multi-cloud. The HashiCorp Cloud Platform provides fully managed offerings of Vault, Consul, and Terraform to automate infrastructure on any cloud.

For Citrix customers, the HashiCorp platform provides the necessary tools to simplify configuration and deployment of Citrix ADC for complex hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Citrix ADC is the most comprehensive application delivery and load balancing solution for monolithic and microservices-based applications. It drives every aspect of application migration and cloud operations including security, performance, scaling, troubleshooting, and availability. Citrix ADC integrations with HashiCorp enable DevOps, CloudOps, and SecOps teams to achieve much faster configuration and deployment of Citrix ADC for both monolithic and microservices-based applications.

“We are thrilled to award Citrix Integration Partner of the Year for 2021,” said Asvin Ramesh, Sr. Director of Technology Alliances at HashiCorp. “Citrix has been an ideal partner because they are at the forefront of simplifying application delivery on virtualized infrastructure for a variety of enterprises that are modernizing apps at scale. Our joint integrations have made it very easy for DevOps, cloud, and security teams to configure and update Citrix ADC functions using Citrix Ingress Controller (CIC) and HashiCorp tools.”

“Citrix humbly accepts this award on behalf of our many customers that use HashiCorp tools,” said Mikko Disini, Sr. Director of Product Management for Networking and Cloud at Citrix. “In the last year, Citrix has used the power of HashiCorp Terraform, Consul and Vault to shorten Day 0 through Day N operations for platform, cloud and security teams.”

Citrix ADC Terraform Cloud Scripts automate Day-0 ADC deployments in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform public clouds. Citrix ADC Terraform provider automates configuration of Citrix ADC for Day 0 and Day 1, and includes SSL, WAF, GLSB, core ADC features, and licensing. For Day-2 operations, Citrix ADC provides a Consul-Terraform-Sync module for Network Infrastructure Automation that enables dynamic updates of backend app services to your ADC without any manual intervention. To cater to DevOps and Application developer Day-N needs, Citrix ADC offers a blue-green and canary deployment solution using Terraform that provides easy integration into CI/CD workflows for fast and reliable application releases.

Citrix’s integration with HashiCorp Vault helps customers go cloud-native with confidence by enabling Citrix Ingress Controller to retrieve secrets management data, access control tokens, passwords, certificates and encryption keys. Available on GitHub, the integration of Citrix ADC with HashiCorp Consul uses its service mesh patterns to automate service discovery, connectivity, and configuration, particularly for Kubernetes clusters.

As our customers accelerate their digital transformation, HashiCorp tools provide agility to help customers configure, secure, and deploy application delivery across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
