36% of Indiana corn, 38% of soybeans harvested

USDA says rain slowed harvest progress last week in Indiana.

The state’s corn harvest is 36 percent complete, slightly ahead of the one-year and five-year average. Seventy percent of the crop is rated good to excellent.

Soybean harvest progress fell behind the one-year and five-year average with 38 percent of the crop harvested. Sixty-eight percent of the crop is rated good to excellent.
