70% South Dakota beans harvested

A third of South Dakota corn has been harvested, as of Sunday while nearly 70% of soybeans had been harvested.

Both are behind last year but well ahead of the average.

Winter wheat planting is also ahead at 90% complete.

Sorghum harvest is more than half complete and 23% of sunflowers have been harvested.

Pasture and range conditions are 75% poor and very poor.
