LANSING – An Ingham County man plans to give some of the $500,000 he won in an instant lottery game to his church, Michigan Lottery officials said.

The 67-year-old man, who chose to remain anonymous, hit on a Mega Black scratch-off ticket he bought at the Sunoco gas station, 109 E. State Road in DeWitt Township, officials said in a news release.

He told lottery officials he plans to buy a new home and a new car and give to his church.

“Winning feels great, but the thing I am most excited about is to be able to give back to my church and other organizations,” the man said.
