Wait, it's Thursday. It's not supposed to rain on a Thursday this year.

But it is, and will continue to do so into the afternoon, when the National Weather Service says the rain will taper off.

Before the storm moves on, leaving cooler temperatures and lower humidity in its wake, the storm is expected to dump 2-4 inches of rain on central Pennsylvania. Strong to severe thunderstorms with gusty winds are possible before noon.

That forecast, on top of the rain that came with the start of the storm on Wednesday, has led the NWS to put central Pa. under a flash flood watch until 10 p.m.

Motorists are urged obey road closed signs, and to turn around before trying to drive through flooded streets.

This post will be updated with the latest on weather and road conditions as the storm moves through central Pa.

Check back for those updates.
