‘Cut him off now!’: Newsmax host totally loses it when a veteran criticizes Trump’s Afghanistan policy

Newsmax TV has been promoting itself as the cable news outlet that is even more right-wing and more pro-Trump than Fox News or Fox Business. This week, Newsmax host Grant Stinchfield had a major temper tantrum when a guest on his show, Joe Saboe — a military veteran and the founder of Team America — offered very mild criticism of former President Donald Trump.

Stinchfield and Saboe discussed the United States' military withdrawal from Afghanistan, where the far-right Taliban is now in control and imposing strict Shariah law. Saboe is an Iraq War veteran whose Team America has been trying to get Americans out of the country.

President Joe Biden essentially followed Trump's plan for withdrawal after extending the deadline, but Stinchfield claimed that the withdrawal would have gone more smoothly under Trump's watch — and the Trump cultist wasn't about to let Saboe say anything to the country.

Saboe wasn't very forceful in his comments, but the minute he started to offer very mild criticism of Trump's Afghanistan policy, Stinchfield lost it and angrily barked, "Cut him off, please! Cut him off now!"

If Stinchfield was so badly triggered by Saboe, one can only imagine how traumatized he would have been during a debate with a blistering Trump critic like MSNBC firebrand Mehdi Hasan.

After Saboe was cut off, Stinchfield ranted, "You're not going to blame this on President Trump on my show! It's not happening…. Don't come on this show and take the talking points of the left and blame President Trump. That's not helping anybody. The Biden Administration screwed this up from the very start; you know it, I know it, the country knows it."
