Milk futures mixed, cash dairy mostly higher Friday

September Class III milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed three cents lower at $16.64.  October up four at $16.85.  November milk a penny lower at $17.10.  December through February contracts unchanged to six cents higher.

Dry whey steady at $0.4850. 

Blocks up $0.0150 at $1.7350. 

Barrels down $0.0025 at $1.3925.  Seven trades made, ranging from $1.38 to $1.40.

Butter up $0.0025 at $1.7975.  Four trades were made, ranging $1.7925 to $1.80.

Nonfat dry milk up $0.0150 at $1.34.  Four trades made, with a range of $1.33 to $1.34.
