Department Of Education Needs To Fix The Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program

The Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program, established under the College Cost Reduction and Access Act of 2007, was created to help Student Loan Borrowers, who work for Qualifying Employers and make Payments, have their Balance Paid after 10 years. Or at least that’s how it was supposed to work.

In Reality, Student Loan Forgiveness has only been Approved for just 2% of PSLF Applicants.

The Department of Education's own Data shows that 98% of Public Service Loan Forgiveness Applicants are Rejected.

Now the Department of Education is taking Public Comments about the PSLF right now.

Many Students who became Public Servants expected part of their Federal Student Loans to be forgiven after 10 years of Working and Paying Off their Debt.

Yet, Hundreds of Thousands of Public Servants, People like Teachers and Nurses, are Not receiving the Student Debt Relief they were Promised.

The PSLF Program is supposed to Help People who went into Public Service but the Entire Process Fails to deliver Results for anyone.
