Metrolink will expand Saturday downtown Los Angeles train service at three additional stations in Ventura County beginning this weekend, according to the Ventura County Transportation Commission.

The expanded service will connect stations in Camarillo, Oxnard and East Ventura to train lines that go through Moorpark and Simi Valley all the way to Los Angeles.

The train completes one round trip per day, travelling east in the morning and returning west in the evening. The eastbound Saturday train leaves Ventura at 8:15 a.m. and arrives at Union Station in Los Angeles at 10:07 a.m., while the westbound train departs Union Station at 4:28 p.m. and returns to Ventura by 6:16 p.m.

Weekend passes cost $10 per adult, while minors travel for free with a paying adult. The fare also covers transfers to Los Angeles County Metro bus, subway and light rail.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are required to be worn by travelers on all platforms and trains.
