Woman critically injured after being hit by car in south Lansing

LANSING – A pedestrian was critically injured in a crash Wednesday afternoon on Lansing's south side.

The incident happened around 1:40 p.m. on Jolly Road near Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police closed eastbound Jolly for about an hour while officers investigated the crash. 

Lansing police said the woman walked into the road and was hit by a car. She was taken to a hospital with critical injuries, they said.

Her name and age were not immediately released.
