We’re back for Part 2 of our ransomware series. In the previous episode The Click-Down podcast, we discussed exactly what ransomware is, why it has become so prevalent, and how you can get infected. Essentially ransomware is a form of malware that encrypts the victim’s files and makes them unusable. The bad actor then demands a ransom in exchange for decryption of those files. Companies of all sizes and industries have fallen victims to ransomware. It has become such a real threat that corporations can purchase cyber insurance in case they get attacked.

While end-user training is necessary to ensure employees are aware of what to look out for, other security measures and systems must be put in place to prevent ransomware.

In this episode of The Click-Down podcast, we invite J.R. Goldman, Lead Sales Engineer, to discuss how Citrix can help. J.R. gives us an overview of the different security-focused products Citrix offers. We talk about the importance of balancing security and end-user experience, so users don’t circumvent IT. We talk about Citrix Analytics for Security, Citrix Endpoint Management, Citrix Content Collaboration, Citrix Secure Internet Access, and Citrix Secure Workspace Access. We also discuss the difference between web apps and SaaS apps from a security perspective.

Join us to learn more! We will be taking a summer break, so this will be our last episode until September.
