Milk futures, cash dairy mixed

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange ended Friday mostly lower not able to break out of a negative trading week.

June Class III milk up four cents at $17.34. July down 10 cents at $16.72. August down 21 cents at $17.23. September 14 cents lower at $17.95. October through December contracts three cents lower to a penny higher.

Dry whey up $0.0175 at $0.61. One sale was made at that price.

Blocks up $0.0025 at $1.4925.

Barrels down $0.0275 at $1.5425. Fourteen trades were made from $1.53 to $1.5450.

Butter down $0.02 at $1.7850. One trade was made at $1.77.

Nonfat dry milk up $0.0150 at $1.2650. Five sales made from $1.26 to $1.2675.
