LANSING – Police were investigating a crash that critically injured a woman Tuesday evening in northwest Lansing.
The crash involved a compact car and happened shortly after 5 p.m. on Delta River Drive, just east of North Waverly Road.
The car flipped, ejecting the 35-year-old female driver, Lansing police Sgt. Michael VanBeek said. She was taken to a hospital with critical injuries, he said.
Nobody else was riding in the car, which came to rest on its roof in the front yard of a home on the north side of Delta River.
A section of Delta River east of Waverly was closed while police investigate the crash.
