[unpaid/affiliate/ad] There are very few retailers whose newsletters I sign up for but cashmere brand, Chinti & Parker, is one of them because I love truly cashmere. When I was growing up in Scotland, we’d drive over to Hawick where a lot of cashmere is produced for the sales, and spend our Christmas money. There is a difference, I think, in quality compared to high street buys – its heavier somehow (while still being light feeling) and less inclined to pill. I have a nylon zip box now where I keep all of my cashmere so that the sneaky moths don’t ravage my jumpers. It’s a problem, but I solved it by freezing all my sweaters for 48 hours then packing them away from all my other clothes and haven’t had any issues since. I bought a mini-freezer to do the job (a fraction of the price of a sweater), and then lock-down happened and it’s had food in it ever since! Ideally, at the end of each winter, wash, dry and freeze, then store separately from other clothes making sure you always put the sweaters away after each wear and not leave them to the floordrobe. The best time to buy cashmere is always spring because, with winter over, they come down in price and sales begin. My most worn cashmere items this year are a grey hoodie I bought from Zalando Lounge in the sale (which I have to stop myself from wearing time and time again) and a Hush sale black flecked V neck.

This is so fun – it’s full cashmere and what’s called a ‘classic fit’ which means that it’s not as loose as the hoodie style so size up if you like things to be more generous. I feel that it’s an absolute snip at £137.50 instead of £275 HERE. I’m already seeing it as a just-off the beach, evening top (I know.. if we get anywhere near a beach) over a dress when the sun goes down. All sizes are still available. It’s available in navy too where all sizes are still in stock except LL.

There’s a good selection of colours for this repurposed cashmere classic fit star sweater – most sizes in most colours are still available and they’re all reduced from £250 to £125 HERE. This is another easy wear – jeans, joggers, smarter trousers, skirts, dresses – it’s all good :-). Size up if you want a looser wear. The cashmere for these sweaters would otherwise have gone to waste. WHO is wasting cashmere!

If this was black instead of navy I’d have pressed the buy button in a nano-second but I so rarely wear navy that I can’t justify it (the black hoodie is another matter altogether!) but I know it’s such a popular shade, especially in the Breton inspired stripe. I love the flash of orange on the sleeve. It’s a wool/cashmere blend available in all sizes for £156 instead of £195 HERE.

Finally, the sweater in the main picture – would you believe – is actually cotton but it’s so much my kind of thing that I’m not going to hold out because it’s everything I want in a spring/summer sweater. It’s reduced from £195 to £136.50 HERE with all sizes except LL available. I think the cream hoodie is too irresistible to miss as well. Anyway, if they take your fancy, I’d go sooner rather than later because size options will get less and less as the weekend goes on.
