Together, Citrix and Microsoft are delivering how people communicate and collaborate in today’s modern workplace. Citrix is building meaningful integration with Microsoft Teams, from providing an impactful experience in a virtual environment to automating workflows and moving toward building a better mobile experience with Citrix Secure Mail and Microsoft Teams.

We are excited to announce the ability to create Microsoft Teams meetings with Citrix Secure Mail. This feature allows end-users to add Microsoft Teams meetings to any new calendar event created on Citrix Secure Mail, making working from anywhere easier than ever! This new feature adds to our support for joining Teams meetings from Citrix Secure Mail.

The above screenshot shows how simple it is to add a Teams meeting as part of your new calendar invitation. All you have to do is enable the toggle for a “Microsoft Teams meeting.”

This feature will be available as part of Secure Mail 21.3.0 for Android devices and iOS in an expected future release.

Get Started with Microsoft Teams Meetings in Secure Mail

To take advantage of Teams meetings in Secure Mail, you’ll first want to make sure modern authentication (OAuth) is enabled for your Microsoft Exchange online service and that your end users are licensed to use Microsoft Teams. Second, ensure that Citrix Secure Mail is listed in your Azure enterprise applications and has the appropriate permissions (OnlineMeetings.ReadWrite) to create online meetings.

Once you enable the one-time Microsoft pre-requisites, the next step is to enable the Microsoft Teams integration with the Secure Mail MDX policies for each mobile platform.

In-person team meetings are now virtual team meetings. Working from home or on the go, collaboration from anywhere is essential and has never been more important today. Citrix Secure Mail’s integration with Microsoft Teams makes this possible.
