Cheesemakers select new leadership

The Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association has a new president and some new board members.

Steve Bechel of the Eau Galle Cheese Factory in Durand, Wisconsin was selected President for the 2021-2022 term, which starts July 1st.

Three new board members were selected.  They are Tom Dahmen of V&V Supremo Foods – Chula Vista Cheese in Browntown, Wisconsin, Kyle Jensen of Hilmar Cheese Company in Hilmar, California, and Chris Roelli of Roelli Cheese Company in Shullsburg, Wisconsin.

The new officers are First Vice President Doug Wilke of Valley Queen Cheese Factory in Milbank, South Dakota, 2nd VP Mike Sipple of Agropur Inc.-USA in Appleton, Wisconsin, returning treasurer Mike Neu of Chr. Hansen in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and board secretary Chris Renard of Renard’s Cheese in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.
