He told officers a newer model Nissan car pulled up beside him, according to the report. The man said he thought he saw a pink gun come out of a rear window and start shooting at him.

He went on to tell police that after being shot, another person pulled up to him and transported him to the hospital. However, the victim was unable to give many details on who might have shot him or who brought him to the hospital, according to the report.

Officers were sent to the area where the man said he was shot but were unable to find evidence that a

shooting occurred and nobody in the neighborhood heard any gunshots in the area around the time of the alleged shooting, said Sgt. Nick Winsett, police spokesman.
