Melinda K. Martin

Melinda K. Martin, 63, of Fremont, OH passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at her home.  She was born August 6, 1957 in Port Clinton, OH, the daughter of Julius and Harriett (Havener) Lieske.  She was a graduate of Bellevue High School and attended Terra Community College.  Melinda married Timothy Martin on October 9, 1976 in Fremont.  She worked at Claus Cutlery for twenty-six years and currently worked at Wal-Mart for sixteen years as a Team Lead.  Melinda was a member of Victory Church and enjoyed researching her family’s ancestry and genealogy, gardening, and interior decorating. She was a kind soul and will be greatly missed.

Melinda is survived by her husband of forty-four years, Timothy Martin; son, Quentin (Angela) Martin both of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Ethan, Skyler, Cameron, Aubrey, Maria and Justin, step grandchildren, Mariela and Mariana; siblings, Merryle (Carol) Lieske, Green Springs, OH, Mary (Robert) Blausey and Deborah Zimmerman both of Gibsonburg, OH, Jeffrey (Lisa) Lieske, Helena, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Justin J. Martin, siblings, Robin Lieske, Patricia England and Judith Ferguson.

Visitation:  Friday, April 2, 2021 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at Victory Church, 2051 Oak Harbor Rd, Fremont, OH.

The use of face masks is required while indoors at all services. Social distancing will be observed throughout all services. If you would prefer, you may express your condolences below or call the funeral home at 419-332-6409 to request that your name be signed in the guest book.

Service:  Saturday, April 3, 2021, 10:30 am at the church with Pastor Ernest Robles officiating.

Burial:  Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH

Memorials can be made to the Donor’s Choice.
