TCC150 Happy St Patrick's Day

Happy Wednesday, peeps!  It's time for a new Card Concept challenge, where we describe our stamping style!  This is one I hope you'll find seasonal and fun:

I love the fresh colors in this inspiration photo, but the little hat is what inspired me to create my Clean and Layered card, using the Gift Givers stamp which I already had on my desk!

I stamped this little guy in Memento ink, colored him with Blends, then diecut him out and added a Gold Foil scallop layer.  The sentiment is from a really, really old set from Purple Onion, stamped in Shaded Spruce, and the layers are Bumblebee and Felicity DSP from Bo Bunny:

I also added a glimmer bow from Pretty Pines for some extra fun!  The sketch that I used is from Sketch Saturday:

I am also entering this at Always Fun Challenges; they're looking for "good luck" cards!

I hope you'll play along with our Card Concept challenge this week...even if you don't celebrate St Patrick's Day, I am sure you'll find something to inspire you!  Thanks for visiting today!

Cassidy came over Sunday afternoon and decided to make a card for her friend Avery.  She wanted to try some splatter art, so we got some craft ink, a paint brush and went to work! She had an idea to create a mask with the letters of Avery's name, then splatter paint over it.  We used the Little Letters dies and some repositionable tape to create the mask, then she splattered various colors of paint on top.  She learned how to splatter the paint by watching a YouTube video:

She even added some glitter paint!  If you look closely, you can see the letters; we dried it with my heat gun and then she peeled off the letters.  More to come this week!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Super cute St Patrick's Day card! I haven't made any so far this year as it seems my card lady hasn't ordered any in the last 2-3 years! So sad! I love that holiday and all the cards that go with it! I am always happy to see you using the older stamps! Just makes me smile, LeAnne! Can't wait to see Miss Cassidy's project! Enjoy the warm up today! Spring is coming!!!

What a cutie! Love the green and the textured panel to bring out the gold too. Forgot to say on the previous post comment - Cassidy's final card for Avery was fabulous! She defintiely had fun exploring her creative abilities!
