In my opinion, the greatest benefit of Citrix Workspace is that it enables our customers to provide their end users with a complete digital workspace from a single vendor. We call this the “platform approach” to workspace delivery.

Taking a single-vendor approach to workspace delivery improves the employee experience because users can access everything they need for work through a single, consolidated view. IT benefits as well: Unified management, analytics, and reporting can greatly reduce IT complexity, freeing time for more strategic IT initiatives.

So what’s the knock on single-vendor solutions for an entire stack of technology? Some customers say that they are OK with the added complexity if they can select best-of-breed solutions from multiple vendors.

With Citrix Workspace you can have your cake and eat it, too. Not only does Citrix Workspace support an entire stack of digital workspace technologies, Citrix is also consistently recognized as a leader by top industry analysts in each of the workspace categories.

For example, in the month of February, we received numerous industry accolades for our Citrix Endpoint Management solutions.

First, Citrix Endpoint Management was named a 2021 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Unified Endpoint Management. What makes this award special is that it’s voted on by actual product users. Citrix Endpoint Management received an overall rating of 4.5/5 stars based on 101 reviews in the Peer Insights category for Unified Endpoint Management.

Security plays a critical role in workspace delivery, and it’s present in multiple layers of the Citrix Workspace technology stack. In February, Citrix was also named as one of Expert Insights’ 2021 Cybersecurity “Best Of” award winners in the categories of Endpoint Management and Enterprise VPNs. Expert Insights award winners are chosen through an evaluation process spearheaded by the organization’s editorial content team and technical experts who have decades of experience in the cybersecurity industry.

All three of the awards are great examples of how Citrix Workspace can provide both a single-vendor experience and a best-of-breed solution.

Citrix Workspace Microapp Technology Supports Employee Well-Being

Delivering a great employee experience is much more than ensuring that workers can stay productive. We often hear that working remotely can make you feel like you’re “always-on,” which can lead to burnout.

Leveraging new microapp capabilities, Citrix Workspace can seamlessly integrate employee well-being functionality into the workspace experience, making it part of how users work.  With easy-to-use low-code tools, companies can now surface relevant content and resources to support employees, regardless of their device type or work location. Here are a couple examples of how organizations can use the out-of-the-box well-being microapps that are available now:

  • Conducting quick pulse surveys to track and improve employee happiness and well-being
  • Sharing positive news to increase employee morale
  • Recognizing colleagues and their achievements to foster engagement and community
  • Supporting employees by securely surfacing relevant content and FAQs in one place.

To help you better envision the experience, we’ve created a video that shows employee well-being with Citrix Workspace in action.
