The son and grandson of prominent conservatives has been arrested for alleged involvement in the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, where he was identified by the Hershey Christian Academy sweatshirt he was wearing.

Videos taken at the time of the insurrection show a man standing inside the U.S. Senate chamber during the insurrection, wearing the Hershey sweatshirt and a red and white ball cap. Three witnesses identified him to the FBI as Leo Brent Bozell IV, of Palmyra, Pennsylvania, according to an FBI affidavit.

L. Brent Bozell, of Palmyra in Lebanon County, has been charged by the FBI for his involvement in the U.S. Capitol insurrection on Jan. 6. He is the son and grandson of two prominent conservatives. This still photograph, taken from a video shot inside the U.S. Senate on Jan. 6, is from FBI documents charging Bozell with three federal crimes.

The FBI affidavit said he was a girls basketball coach at Hershey Christian Academy until March 2020. But in a statement, the school said Bozell was not a former coach and the academy has no sports program.

Bozell is charged with corruptly obstructing, influencing, and impeding any official proceeding; entering a restricted building and grounds; and disorderly conduct.

He is among 19 Pennsylvania residents arrested for involvement in the U.S. Capitol insurrection.

One video shows Bozell on a balcony in the Senate next to a teenager while people chanted, "Treason," FBI documents state. Bozell, also known as "Zeek" or "Zeeker," according to the FBI, jumped from the balcony, as did the teenager, and was later seen in another video leaving the Capitol.

One year ago, his father, L. Brent Bozell III, was on the agenda of the 2020 Leadership Conference in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, with U.S. Congressman Scott Perry, former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum and Newsmax's John Gizzi.

Bozell III is the founder and president of the conservative Media Research Center and is the son of L. Brent Bozell Jr., known for helping to organize the first anti-abortion march on Washington, D.C., in 1970. Bozell Jr. also supported U.S. Sen. Joe McCarthy, leader of the "Red Scare" in the 1950s, and was a speechwriter for U.S. Sen. Barry Goldwater.
