It is serendipitous that the 2021 Black History Month theme is The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity. For many of us, family is everything, and the last year reminded us just how precious family truly is.
At Citrix we want to celebrate the journey we are on as a family. Together, we took many steps towards racial equality in 2020. Even though we still have more progress to make, we have grown stronger as a company and as Citrites, despite not being able to see each other in person. This is no small feat.
Our Journey Continues
Throughout February, the Black Professionals Network (BPN), one of Citrix’s Employee Resource Groups, is offering employees a series of virtual events and resources, including a virtual career showcase for high school and college students, mentorship panel discussion, a movie night, a discussion on interracial family relationships, an ally workshop, and a keynote from Robert Knowling Jr., a member of Citrix’s board of directors.
We’re also sharing the stories of 18 Black leaders and innovators that have blazed a trail for us all, including Dr. Alexa Canady, Dr. Shirley Jackson, and Bessie Coleman.

Employee Resource Groups
The BPN is one of Citrix’s employee resource groups (ERGs). These employee-led, self-organized, Citrix-sponsored groups focus on advancing our vision of equality by supporting and advancing a sense of belonging at Citrix and beyond. Our goal: support underrepresented groups of employees, helping them to build safe spaces for members, to educate allies, and attract and retain diverse talent. Our current ERGs are:
