JoJo Siwa shares photos with girlfriend: 'I’ve been the happiest I have ever been'

JoJo Siwa is sharing a sweet post about her month-iversary.

In a series of photos posted to Instagram Monday, the teen internet icon, 17, shared photos of her and her girlfriend to celebrate one full month of being together.

"After being my best friend for over a year, January 8th 2021 I got to start calling this exceptional human my Girlfriend... and Since then I’ve been the happiest I have ever been!" Siwa wrote.

She described her girlfriend, who is tagged in the post, as "the most loving, supportive, happiest, protective, and just the most beautiful perfect person in the world."

Siwa concluded, "And I get to call her mine! Happy one month to my girl! I love you more and more everyday!❤️"

In one of the photos, Siwa and her girlfriend are seen holding hands. In a video clip, they're seen dancing and lip-syncing along to Justin Bieber's "As Long As You Love Me."

Fellow celebrities and internet stars took to the comment section to cheer the couple on.

Paris Hilton shared two heart-eye emojis.

Internet personality Doug The Pug wrote, "The best of humans!!! So happy for u!!"

Choreographer Mark Meismer wrote, "YES so happy for you both."

Siwa came out as a member of the LGBTQ community last month after making a series of TikToks, including one where she mouths the lyrics to "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga, known as an LGBTQ anthem.

The star has had a busy month in the spotlight ever since, including an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," where she reflected on coming out and first revealed she had a girlfriend.

"I'm like, 'I think this TikTok is going to out me,'" Siwa recalled. "I was like, 'I don't really mind, it is true. I do have the most amazing, wonderful, perfect, most beautiful girlfriend in the whole world. It's not something I'm ashamed of, I just haven't shown the internet yet.'"

Siwa's "Fallon" appearance came a day before Nickelodeon announced she is set to star in and executive produce a new live-action musical titled "The J Team," about a girl who must "rediscover what dance and friendship mean to her" after getting kicked out of her dance troupe. Production will begin this month in Vancouver.

The Omaha, Nebraska, native, born Joelle Joanie Siwa, is famous for her giant hair bows, sparkly outfits and larger-than-life personality, and she boasts millions of followers online. Across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, Siwa has racked up more than 42 million followers.
