Indianapolis police seek help identifying suspect in northeast side bank robbery

Indianapolis police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in a Jan. 19 bank robbery on the northeast side of the city. 

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a bank robbery in the 5100 block of East 82nd Street — in a complex near 82nd Street and Allisonville Road — at 11:05 a.m. last Tuesday. 

Police were told a male came into the business, demanded money and fled the scene with an unknown amount of cash before law enforcement could arrive. 

Police released photos of a man suspected in a Jan. 19 bank robbery in the 5100 block of E. 82nd Street.

Surveillance footage from the incident shows a man wearing a blue coat with a hood and a blue COVID-19 mask inside a building. The suspect is described as in his early to mid-20s and 5 feet, 11 inches tall. Police said he has a medium build and weighs about 160 to 170 pounds.
