Trump Name to Be Removed from Florida Condo Near Mar-a-Lago After Unanimous Vote

A West Palm Beach, Florida, Condo Complex has voted to Unanimously Remove the name "Trump Plaza" from its Towers, following the Deadly Pro-Trump Riots at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th.

The Trump Plaza Board also voted to Change the Complex's Name. Now, Trump will No Longer have a Condo bearing his Name across the Water from his current Home in Mar-a-Lago.

"It's been a long time in coming," a Trump Plaza Condo Owner told the The Palm Beach Post. "Most of us are relieved that the name will finally be off the buildings."

Trump has Not Owned the Trump Plaza Complex since 1991, but its Owners had sought to keep his Name attached to the Units as a Branding Asset.

"Many of the residents here are international people, and they consider the Trump name an asset," former Condo Board President, Abe Bernstein, told The Palm Beach Post in 2017.

But during his Presidency, the Complex's Residents' attitude toward Trump began to Change. In February 2020, an Overwhelming Majority of them Voted to Not Replace the Large "Trump Plaza" Signs on Top of the Building, after they had been Removed as part of an Exterior Renovation.

Then, after Protesters took to the Streets last summer to Demonstrate against Police Brutality and the Death of George Floyd, the Condo Complex Removed Street-level Signs bearing the Trump name, citing the "safety," of its Residents.

Even so, the Trump Plaza name still remained, until the January 6th Capitol Riot, which was seen as the last straw.

Since then, a Number of Businesses and Governments have sought to Pull Contracts with Trump. New York City Term-Limited Mayor, Bill de Blasio (D), said on January 13th that the City was severing multiple Contracts with the Trump Organization reportedly worth $17 Million a year.

"Inciting an insurrection against the United States government clearly constitutes criminal activity," de Blasio said. "The city of New York will no longer have anything to do with the Trump Organization. They have profited from these kinds of contracts. They will profit no longer."

Trump Plaza Residents will Vote on a New Name for the Complex at the end of February. A Two-Thirds Majority will be Needed to Approve of the Change. "I believe that an overwhelming majority of apartment owners will vote to approve the change," the Trump Plaza Condo Owner told The Palm Beach Post.

Two of Trump Lenders, Deutsche Bank AG and Signature Bank, no longer will due Business with Trump and his Companies, even though he has Large Outstanding Loans.

Trump has been Removed from every Major Social Media Platform.

The Golf-Loving Trump has his Contract cut with the Professional Golf Association, which announced that it will No longer be Hosting its 2022 Championship Game at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey and The Britsh Open in his Scotland Gold Club.
