Joe Biden, Kamala Harris drop inauguration playlist with songs from Beyoncé, Dua Lipa, more

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are ringing in their administration with some empowering music.

Ahead of Inauguration Day on Jan. 20, the president-elect and vice president-elect have released a 46-song playlist in honor of their upcoming administration.

The collection features a wide-range of songs, including modern anthems like Beyoncé's "Find Your Way Back" and Dua Lipa's "Levitating," as well as classic tunes like The Doobie Brothers' "What a Fool Believes" and Led Zeppelin's "Fool in the Rain."

The playlist is available now on SoundCloud, Spotify and Apple Music.

According to a tweet on Friday from the Biden Inaugural Committee, the list of songs was curated by DJ D-Nice and Issa Rae's music company Raedio.

"As this wonderous transition of power ensues, we strongly hold the joy of these select songs to be self-evident," reads the playlist's description on Spotify.

Here is the full Spotify playlist:

Benoni Tagoe, one of Raedio's co-founders, described the healing power of music in a statement to Rolling Stone and Billboard.

"We know that music has the power to bring people together, and after a year of national challenges and division, we hope this collection serves as an indication of a new beginning, positive change and a reminder that music of all types is a common language," Tagoe said.

Biden and Harris aren't the only politicians to release a playlist recently. In November, former President Barack Obama shared a playlist in honor of the release of his book "A Promised Land." The list featured "some memorable songs from my administration," Obama said in a tweet, and included songs from Eminem's "Lose Yourself" to the Beatles track "Michelle."
