Police identify Mason man, 49, killed in Aurelius Twp. crash

AURELIUS TWP – Police have identified a Mason man who was killed in a crash Wednesday morning. 

Joseph Henry Gibbs, 49, was killed when his vehicle collided with another man's vehicle, according to a news release from the Ingham County Sheriff's Department. 

Gibbs was struck at about 8:30 a.m. by a Marshall man driving south on Eifert Road at the intersection of Eifert and Columbia roads in Aurelius Township, according to the sheriff's office. 

The Marshall man had non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
