The Friday high temperature in Indy will be about five degrees away from the record of 66 from 1931. The Thursday high of 60 missed the record by six degrees. The mild weather will end Saturday night.
The temperature change will be driven by a strong storm system moving northeastward through the state Saturday.
I’m expecting anywhere from one-third to one inch of rainfall.
The highest totals should be to the northwest part of central Indiana, which is good, because where there are still areas that are in near-drought conditions.
