Citrix and Google have long shared a common vision of providing solutions that enable users to work securely, simply, and productively. As we continue to make customers our first priority, our conversations have shifted to focus on the need for end-to-end solutions to business challenges, rather than just addressing those of IT.

Together, we have delivered comprehensive solutions that have helped customers address sustainability in the energy industry, improve cancer treatment, and successfully move thousands of call center workers to home offices. So when Google Chrome asked us to join as founding members of the Modern Computing Alliance, we were excited to jump in to help shape it.

Back in 2011, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai (below), then head of Chrome OS, joined us on stage to highlight the first Chromebook, with Citrix as the first partner to deliver secure access to business apps to the new device.

Because of our history, embarking on this journey with the members of the Modern Computing Alliance made sense and puts us in good company with other forward-thinking technology leaders.  Some of them like Slack, RingCentral, Okta, and Imprivata are partners who have already integrated with Citrix to help customers benefit from the Citrix Workspace Platform and our mission to help employees do their best work.

We believe that the Modern Computing Alliance and the Modern Computing IT Council will allow us to extend the work we have done with Chrome Enterprise and all our partners to give employees the freedom to do their best work. We are excited to work with our fellow members to influence how the future of work gets done and reinforce our commitment to customer success with more integrated and innovative solutions across the silicon-to-cloud stack.
