While it may seem a little counterintuitive to pay an annual fee (from $60 a year) to shop at a store, the retailer's members know that it’s it's the only way to snag certain top deals on food, household essentials, electronics and even appliances that you won’t be able to get anywhere else. Take this Vitamix Explorian E320 + PCA package, for instance. Once $399.99, it's now $299.99 here—but only for Costco members.

While we’ve yet to try out this particular model (there are a ton on the market after all!), we’re big fans of the Vitamix 5300 which we dubbed our best value pick for pro-style blenders. In testing, its powerful mixing was 5-star-worthy, while its speedy motor (2.2-horsepower) was especially nice for saving time.
