Milk futures, cash dairy lower

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange took back midweek gains Thursday as the cash market continues to slide.

November Class III milk down three cents at $23.12.  December 42 cents lower at $15.59.  January down 40 cents at $16.31.  February 14 cents lower at $16.50.  March through May contracts one to 14 cents lower.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.42. 

Blocks down $0.0450 at $1.5975.  One trade was made at that price.

Barrels unchanged at $1.40.  One trade was made at that price.

Butter down $0.0050 at $1.37.  Two trades were made at $1.37 and $1.38.

Nonfat dry milk down $0.0075 at $1.08
