CME dairy markets closed lower Friday

Milk futures and cash dairy markets closed mostly lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday.

November Class III milk was down $.24 at $23.13.  December was down $.75 closing at $17.71.  January was down $.60 at $16.96.  February was down $.33 at $16.54.  March through October contracts ranged from sixteen cents lower to eleven cents higher.

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.43. No sales were recorded.

Blocks went down $.1625 settling at $1.9175.  Two sales were made at $1.9175 and $1.9275

Barrels fell $.29 to $1.61. Ten sales were made from $1.60 to $1.61.

Butter closed down $0.0350 at $1.40.  Eleven trades were made ranging from $1.40 to $1.43. 

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.01 at $1.0875.  Eighteen trades were made ranging from $1.09 to $1.0975.  Four sales were made ranging from $1.0875 to $1.09.
