Lawyers based in London have made last ditch attempts to return to their offices to pick up important documents on the eve of the U.K.’s second coronavirus lockdown.

Two partners working in London — one at a U.K. firm and one at a U.S. firm — said that they had made last minute trips to their offices on Wednesday in an attempt not to be caught out by the incoming lockdown in England, which will implement greater restrictions on the public’s movement as of 00.01am on Thursday, November 5.
