Commodity Classic will offer virtual experience in 2021

Commodity Classic has announced it will transition to a digital format in 2021 because of COVID-19 restrictions. The event was scheduled for March 4-6 in San Antonio, Texas.

Commodity Classic Co-Chair Anthony Bush, an Ohio farmer representing the National Corn Growers Association, says the decision was about “doing the right thing” for the health and safety of farmers, exhibitors, stakeholders, and the broader community.

Brad Doyle, an Arkansas farmer and co-chair of the event representing the American Soybean Association, says the restrictions would have prevented them from providing a productive in-person event. But, he says the transition to a digital format will allow even more farmers to participate.

The virtual experience is expected to be offered the first week of March. More information will be available in the coming weeks.

The 2022 Commodity Classic will be March 10-12, 2022 in New Orleans.
