Bayer supports new EPA dicamba label with tank mix requirement
The dicamba product manager for Bayer Crop Science says they fully support EPA’s new reregistration for XtendiMax dicamba herbicide which includes the mandatory use of a tank mix. Alex Zenteno tells Brownfield Bayer has developed its VaporGrip Extra Agent tank mix to potentially reduce volatility.
“We heard from our U.S. academic collaborators letting us know what further improvement they saw. We really thought that this was a great product to bring forth commercially and now part of the requirement of the label, we think, is going to bring further comfort of use when a grower is using Xtendimax.”
Zenteno says the Vapor Grip Extra Agent has been licensed to distributors that will bring it to market with private labels instead of directly from Bayer.
