LANSING — Eric Trump and Jill Biden will be visiting Lansing Thursday, a part of a flurry of last-minute visits from both campaigns.

Trump is scheduled to be at the Hope Sports Complex at 5801 Aurelius Rd. at 2:30 p.m. Thursday for a "Make America Great Again" rally. This is the second time this month he'll have been in Greater Lansing to campaign for his father.

Biden will be in Lansing and Westland Thursday visiting volunteer canvass launches. Her Lansing appearance begins at 1:30 p.m., but the campaign did not respond to a request for a local. The event does not appear to be open to the general public.

President Donald Trump drew thousands of people to Lansing's Capital Region International Airport Tuesday for a rally. He told supporters this election is a "matter of economic survival for Michigan."

Michigan, a swing state, is key to Trump's reelection. Most polls show Trump lagging behind former Vice President Joe Biden, but Trump promised supporters Tuesday he would win, just as he did in 2016 when he won the state by just over 10,000 votes.

Joe Biden is scheduled to visit Michigan Saturday, although a specific location and time have yet to be released. He will be joined by former President Barack Obama.

Both candidates have been campaigning hard to encourage voters to make it to the polls Tuesday or to vote early.
