62% of Indiana corn, 82% of soybeans harvested

The USDA says rainfall provided much needed relief to soils in Indiana last week.  

Corn harvest remained in line and soybean harvested was slightly ahead of the five-year average.

As of Sunday, 62 percent of corn is harvested. The crop is rated 62 percent good to excellent.

Eighty-two percent of soybeans are harvested.  

Winter wheat is 80 percent planted and 50 percent emerged.
