This Is Halloween [The 2020 Edition]

We go a little nuts for certain holidays and seasons here at GXO headquarters. While October is #WickedGoodReads Month when I’m reading books with wicked people & creatures, dangerous places & things, it’s also the month for bringing out the scares in other ways … because #Halloween! We’ve decked out or houses and yards for all the scares, and here’s a little peak.

The big news around here is that my husband remodeled our fireplace! I had so much fun decorating it for Halloween and now it makes me so happy every time I come in the room.

I’m still tweaking everything but I love the additions I’ve made. The Home Sweet Haunted Home sign is from TheHolidayPorch on Etsy. The meditation skeleton is from Michaels. The vintage book display is from Lowes and has a motion sensor and moves and plays music.

While looking around on Etsy for this sign, I also came across this Salem Broom Co. sign from Suburban Farmhouse and couldn’t pass it up.

We decked the Front Porch and flower bed out with purple and orange lights and also included some green flying witch lights. I added a couple of pumpkin lanterns and the crashed witch after I found them sitting in storage at my grandparents house. I also added this Pumpkin face Ghoul with glowing eyes to the front door.

I picked up this eyeball wreath that lights up from Target last year and I love it. I hung it in the bathroom because an eyeball watching you in the bathroom isn’t creepy at all. Ha!

Do you decorate for Halloween? Outside or inside, both or neither?
