Good Trouble Ballot March and Get Out the Vote Rally set for Saturday in York

Voters will be marching to the York County Administrative Center on Saturday to cast their mail-in or absentee ballots as part of the "Good Trouble Ballot March and Get Out the Vote Rally."

Anyone who received a mail-in or absentee ballot is invited to participate in the event, which is being held in the spirit of the late Honorable John Lewis.

Local clergy, BMA, Baptist Ministers' Conference of Pennsylvania, the York County Commissioners, the City of York and community grassroots organizations are leading the event.

The security envelope is shown at top. The ballot should be placed in it before it is placed in the signed mailer envelope.

The event starts at 11:30 a.m. at Penn Park on the College Avenue side.

Participants will march east on College Avenue to South George Street and then head north on North George Street to the square. From there, the procession will head east on East Market Street to the York County Administrative Center.

Voters will be able to turn in their own completed ballots.

Afterwards, participates will go the the York City Hall parking lot for a Get Out the Vote rally.

Participants must wear masks and observe social distancing, the release states.
