LANSING — A 25-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after someone shot into his home Tuesday night, police said.

Lansing police were sent to a report of a shooting just after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 3400 block of Viola Drive, Public Information Director Robert Merritt said.

They found the 25-year-old with a graze wound on his head from a bullet and took him to a local hospital, Merritt said.

Early investigations show the 25-year-old was inside the residence and the gunshot came from outside, Merritt said.

Police do not have any suspect information, but do not believe this was a random act, Merritt said.

Anyone with information on the shooting can call LPD at 517-483-4600.
