Nebraska’s corn harvest is at 58 percent

Nebraska’s corn harvest continues to move along at a rapid pace.

As of Sunday, 58 percent of the corn crop had been harvested, well ahead of the 31 percent five-year average.

Soybean harvest was 92 percent compared to 58 percent average. Sorghum harvest was at 60 percent.

Winter wheat condition rated 41 percent good to excellent. Seventy-two percent of the crop had emerged.
