US Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrests York shooting suspect in Red Lion

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force tracked down and arrested a man Monday in Red Lion wanted for a June attempted homicide, according to a news release.

Anthony Eugene "AJ" Faison Jr., 21, of York, faces charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault and illegal possession of a firearm.

York City Police had been looking for Anthony Faison and brother Temile Kahlique Faison, 19, after they allegedly burst into a home in the 400 block of Park Street on June 12, spraying a barrage of bullets, striking a man several times.

Temile Faison was arrested Saturday, according to online court dockets. As of Monday afternoon, both were being held at York County Prison without bail.

According to the release, York City Police launched an investigation, but after they could not locate Anthony Faison, they enlisted the help of the U.S. Marshals.

The task force — comprised of members of several York County law enforcement agencies — arrested Anthony Faison about 7 a.m. Monday without incident in the 600 block of Country Club Road, Red Lion.  

He was then taken to Central Booking for arraignment.

Details of shooting

Just before 3 a.m. on June 12, York City Police responded to a shooting in the 400 block of Park Street, which occurred inside a home.

Once there, officers found Rashi Tyler in the dining room, suffering from gunshot wounds to his torso and arm. Officers provided first aid until emergency medical personnel arrived.

"Several witnesses were inside the residence at the time of the shooting and observed two males enter and start shooting before running back out," the warrants state.

From his hospital bed, Tyler told detectives that both Faisons invaded the home and shot him. He then identified them in separate photo line-ups.
