Lincoln County authorities say they arrested a man on Tuesday afternoon after he stole a vehicle and led them on a pursuit on Interstate 29.

Logan Petik, 30 and of Lennox, was arrested on Tuesday night, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said in a post on Facebook.

Petik then led authorities in a pursuit after the Lennox Police Department attempted to pull him over. Speeds reached over 100 mph near Worthing and Lennox, and Petik eventually drove onto Interstate 29, going the wrong way in the northbound lanes, the sheriff's office said.

At some point, Petik stopped the vehicle and fled on foot, and a homeowner called authorities to report a suspicious man on his property. Petik was found and arrested without incident, the sheriff's office said.

Petik was charged with  possession of stolen property, aggravated eluding, reckless driving and driving with a suspended license.
