Europe approves XtendFlex soybean technology

Bayer says the European Commission has authorized its XtendFlex soybean technology for food, feed, import and processing in the European Union. With the final key authorization, Bayer says XtendFlex soybeans will be fully launched in the U.S. and Canada in 2021. The technology is based on Bayer’s RoundUp Ready 2 Xtend soybean system, allowing more flexibility to manage resistant weeds.
